Custom Promotional Packaging
Every other pack on this site protects something. A PR box exists to be opened on camera by someone with an audience, once, and then thrown away. That is a completely different brief, and most of it is about the first four seconds.

The reveal is the product
What gets filmed is the moment the lid comes off and the contents are visible. Everything before that — the outer, the tape, the void fill — is a delay, and everything after it is the product's job rather than the packaging's.
So the money belongs at the lid: a magnetic closure that opens one-handed, an insert that presents everything at once, and a printed interior that looks deliberate on camera.
Film it yourself before ordering a thousand. A pack that opens awkwardly on camera is obvious in five seconds and impossible to fix afterwards.

What reads badly on camera
- Loose void fill, which has to be dug through and looks like landfill on video.
- A tight-fitting lid that needs two hands and a struggle.
- Bare gray or brown inserts against a printed exterior.
- Tissue that has to be unwrapped item by item before anything is visible.
- Anything requiring scissors, which stops the recording.

Insert layout is the whole design
Raising the hero item above the rest costs almost nothing — stacked card sheets under it — and it is the difference between a box of things and a presentation.
| Everything visible at once | Best for camera; the reveal happens in one movement |
|---|---|
| Layered with a lift-out tray | Good for a longer video; two reveals rather than one |
| Hero item raised | Directs the eye; a layered card platform does it with no tooling |
| Loose in tissue | Cheapest, and it films worst |

Small runs are the normal shape of this work
A PR list is fifty to five hundred people, not five thousand, and campaign packs are usually seasonal. That makes tooling cost the dominant factor rather than unit price.
Digital print and a shared dieline across campaigns is how this gets affordable: one box tool, a new print file and a new insert each season — the same range logic set out in our insert material notes.

The bit that outlives the video
A PR box that gets kept keeps working — on a shelf behind someone in their next video, in a photograph, as storage. A box that is obviously disposable is in a bin the same day.
A rigid build, a closure that still works after opening, and no torn tamper seal across the lid are what decide which of the two you have bought.

Frequently asked questions
Got a question about promotional packaging? The answers below cover what we get asked most. If yours is not here, send it with a brief, message us on WhatsApp, or call +1 503-461-4788 — we reply the same working day.
What matters most in a PR box?
The first four seconds. Spend on the lid, the insert layout and the printed interior, not on the outer.
Should everything be visible at once?
Usually yes. A single reveal films better than digging through tissue and void fill.
Are small runs viable?
That is the normal shape here. Digital print and a shared dieline across seasons is what makes it affordable.
How do I make the box get kept?
Rigid construction, a closure that still works after opening, and no tamper seal torn across the lid.
What is the minimum order?
100 boxes — campaign runs are the norm.
What films badly?
Loose void fill, individually wrapped items, bare gray inserts, and anything needing scissors.
